Accessibility Statement

1. Purpose and Commitment

1.1 Commitment. Confused Productions, LLC (collectively, “Confused Productions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, regardless of ability. We strive to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply relevant accessibility standards across our digital properties.

1.2 Principle. Creativity, information, and community should be available to everyone. We aim to provide accessible and usable content for individuals with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

1.3 Global Application. This Accessibility Statement applies globally to online interactions with Confused Productions.

2. Scope and Definitions

2.1 Covered Properties (“Digital Properties”). Our websites and digital properties, including storefronts, media/podcasts/video, memberships, and user correspondence (email/web forms) operated by or on behalf of Confused Productions.

2.2 Related Policies. This Statement should be read together with our Privacy Policyand Terms of Use, which govern data practices and contractual terms for use of our sites and services.

2.3 Users. “Users” means any individual or entity who accesses or interacts with our Digital Properties.

3. Standards and Conformance Target

3.1 Conformance Goal. Confused Productions is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG is an internationally recognized standard from the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

3.2 Evolving Standards. We monitor updates to related standards and guidance (e.g., WCAG 2.2 and WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices) and will adjust our practices over time.

3.3 No Absolute Guarantee. While we strive for robust accessibility, we do notrepresent or warrant that every page, media asset, or integration currently meets all success criteria at all times.

4. Targeted Practices

We strive to ensure that:

4.1 Perceivability & Contrast. Text and essential graphics meet readable contrast ratios consistent with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

4.2 Text Alternatives. Images and non-text content include descriptive alternative text, long descriptions, or captions where appropriate.

4.3 Keyboard Accessibility. Core features are navigable and operable by keyboard alone (including visible focus).

4.4 Multimedia Alternatives. Videos, audio, and podcasts include captions, transcripts, or descriptive text where feasible.

4.5 Forms & Controls. Forms, buttons, and interactive elements are programmatically associated with labels, states, and instructions; where appropriate, WAI-ARIA semantics are applied following WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices guidance.

5. Testing, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement

5.1 Cadence. We conduct periodic audits (at least semi-annually and after major releases), including automated scans and manual reviews.

5.2 Methods. We use a blend of automated testing tools, code review, manual inspection against WCAG success criteria, and—where feasible—user testing with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, keyboard-only navigation).

5.3 Remediation Workflow. Identified issues are triaged by severity and user impact, prioritized for remediation, regression-checked, and tracked to closure.

5.4 Governance. We maintain internal guidance for designers, developers, and content editors to reduce re-introduction of barriers.

6. Compatibility and Supported Technologies

6.1 Browsers/OS. Our intent is compatibility with current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and operating systems.

6.2 Assistive Technologies. We test for interoperability with commonly used assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and with keyboard-only usage.

6.3 Limitations. Certain combinations of browsers, extensions, or legacy environments may affect behavior. We encourage Users to update to the latest versions of browsers and assistive tools.

7. Third-Party Platforms, Content, and Integrations

7.1 Acknowledgment of Third Parties. Our Digital Properties may embed or integrate third-party components (e.g., website hosting/e-commerce platforms, payment processors, fulfillment partners, media players, analytics, and social media).

7.2 Approach. We select mainstream providers, request or enable available accessibility features, and encourage partners to advance accessibility.

7.3 Limitation. We do not control third-party codebases and therefore cannotguarantee their conformance. Where a third-party component presents a barrier, we will seek a reasonable workaround or alternative access where feasible.

8. Feedback, Support, and Accessible Alternatives

8.1 We Want to Hear From You. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need content in an alternative format, please contact us using the details in Section 10.

8.2 Helpful Details. To help us diagnose and resolve issues, please include: the page URL or feature name; a brief description of the problem; the assistive technology, browser, and operating system used; and screenshots or recordings if possible.

8.3 Response Window. We aim to acknowledge inquiries within ten (10) business days and to provide a substantive response or accessible alternative within a reasonable period, considering complexity and feasibility.

9. Alternative Access and Reasonable Modifications

9.1 Alternative Formats. Upon request, we will endeavor to provide information in an accessible alternative format (e.g., transcript, large-print PDF) where feasible and not an undue burden.

9.2 Temporary Barriers. If a barrier cannot be immediately remediated, we will make reasonable efforts to offer timely alternative access to the requested information or service.
