Frequently Asked Questions

  • Fulfillment (printing/packing) usually takes 2–5 business days, then shipping time depends on destination and carrier. You’ll see an ETA on your order status page once tracking is created.

  • After confirming your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email includes a “View Order” link with real-time tracking, once available.

    If you created a store account, you can also check Account → Orders to view status and tracking anytime. 

    If you can’t find your confirmation email, contact Storefront@ConfusedIdealist.com and we’ll resend it.

  • If your order is still in production (Being fulfilled), we can update the address. Message us ASAP with the subject:

    “ADDRESS CHANGE — Order #_____”

    Include your correct address. Addresses cannot be edited after the order is marked Shipped.

    If your order is already shipped, we can’t change the address, but you may be able to request a carrier intercept by clicking your carrier below:

  • Once fulfillment begins, items cannot be edited or canceled.

    If the order is still Waiting for Fulfillment, there may be a short window to cancel for a full refund—reach out immediately with your Order # to Storefront@ConfusedIdealist.com

  • There is no warranty on any item beyond what is covered by the 30-day defective product guarantee.

  • Because every item is made-to-order, we don’t accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse or size issues. If you need a different size/color, we can help you place a fresh order.

    If something arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, we’ll reprint or refund the item once you report it. You won’t need to mail anything back—just send photos and your order number. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a report.

    What photos help us resolve it fast? A clear photo of the whole item, close-ups of the issue, and (if relevant) the size tag and the packing slip in the same image.

    How to report a problem (fastest):

    1. Reply to your order email (or write Storefront@ConfusedIdealist.com).

    2. Include your order #, short description, and photos (see above).

    3. Upon confirmation, we will immediately begin fresh production of a replacement item.

  • When we process an approved refund, the refund is then applied to your original payment method via your original payment processor. Your bank/card determines when it appears in your account.

    If you prefer store credit, ask and we’ll arrange it.

  • If it’s a few days past the ETA and tracking hasn’t moved, contact us—we’ll investigate. If the carrier deems it lost in transit and you reported it within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, we’ll reprint and reship at no cost. 

    If tracking shows Delivered but you don’t have it:

    Check safe places, with neighbors/front desk, then contact the carrier. We don’t cover replacements for items marked Delivered. If it can’t be located, we can help you reorder.

  • If a package is returned to the facility (wrong address, unclaimed, etc.), it can take 2–4 weeks to arrive back and be processed. Once processed, we can reship to a new or corrected address (new shipping fees apply). We’ll email you when it’s on its way.

  • Delivery times vary by destination and carrier. Some countries collect customs/VAT at delivery. In general, these fees (when applicable) are set by your country’s customs authority. Printful also offers DDP (duties paid) for certain destinations on specific services—availability is shown at checkout/shipping options.

  • Update an address after shipment:

    Track your order: Use the “View Order” button in your Order Confirmation email, or log into your store Account, and then click or tap Orders to view tracking information.

    Report a damaged/defective item: Email Storefront@ConfusedIdealist.com within 30 days of your delivery date with your order # and photos following the guidelines laid out in Returns, exchanges & damaged items above
