Just another in a millennia-long line of jesters and troubadours, rail-riders and daydreamers.

Despite my story and present circumstances, there have been very few times in my life I have not been working.

Here’s a running tally of jobs I remember I’ve had, and places I’ve worked, that have kept this biological show goin’ over the decades:

Kindergarten teacher, asphalt layer, video editor, web designer, marketer, film projectionist at multiple theatres, Alamo Drafthouse, operated the live-stream cameras for a Unitarian church, server for: The Cheesecake Factory, Abuelo’s, Quiznos, Chuy’s, Los Cabos, McAllister’s Deli, The Olive Garden; call center agent at: religious organizations, Dish Network; delivery driver for: Uber, DoorDash (over 7,000 deliveries), Shipt, GoPuff; working on large aircraft, detailing cars, delivering groceries, stocking groceries, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Safeway, King Sooper’s, janitor, account executive (complete with secretary), watch repairman, salesman of: jewelry, cell phones, marijuana, marijuana concentrate all-in-one machines (got to fly around the country for that one), liquor, Apple stuff at the Apple Store; paralegal, legal assistant, receptionist, Wal-Mart, day labor, order puller, driver of 1-1/2 ton and 2 ton flat-beds for both a lumber yard and an industrial wiring warehouse, forklift operator, cherry-picker operator, Ace Hardware, custom furniture crafter, HVAC assistant, film production assistant, boom mic operator, lighting assistant, associate producer at a theatre company, the American Red Cross, the Democratic National Committee, executive assistant to a nationally-known barbecue chef, potpourri jar-maker, copywriter, trainer

I’m not a tough guy, but I’ve done some things in my life that only tough guys have done.
