Toward the Edge is a meditation on society’s quiet margins, where two figures share a stage yet never quite touch—one drifting forward with his back to us, the other rooted on a bench with his belongings, both pressed against the indifferent façade of a financial temple. The geometry of the city is rigid, but their presence is fragile, almost ghostlike—men suspended at the threshold between being and non-being, visibility and erasure.
This piece does not shout; it turns a city street quiet to bring forth the elegy of lives edging outward.
